Warhammer isn't my thing—waaagh and emperor of mankind memes, an overly grim setting, ironically immature, leaning uncomfortable close to idealizing supremacy and zealotry...meh.

But Warhammer 40k: Darktide is cool. It's like Left 4 Dead, but you're on the offensive, and can be a Ogre. It's fun! ✅
Beast's character in the PC-version of the game Warhammer 40k: Darktide. The character is an "Ogryn", within the Warhammer universe they are an ogre-like race categorized as Abhumans. Those loyal to the Empire are treated as they are: dumb brutes who are good at one thing—crush and destroy. In the Darktide game, which is similar to Left 4 Dead, Ogryn are a playable and customizable class. Beast's character here is a large muscular Ogryn wearing a collection of warmongering items, from bandoliers with thick bullets, to leather belts, straps, and metal dog tags, over and under a cropped red vest and trousers; reflective of a small portion of the in-game cosmetic customization options available for player characters.

Man, giving Hexen a go in 2024 reminds me just how incredibly musclebound enemies were back in 90s' games...aliens (and pig cops, whoof) from Duke Nukem, Hell Knights/Barons in Doom. Pretty much the entire roster in Hexen...

I'll never disapprove of totally ripped, hunky, and hulky mobs in games...

A biographical character sheet for Kàrr, a Human Werewolf, Ranger, and Bounty Hunter. A headstrong and adventurous youth, Karr attracted attention from a traveling Ranger who invited him into the Ranger’s Guild. Gimrok’s family moved to the deserts of the Fifth Kingdom when he was a boy, and he began learning a multitude pf trade skills alongside his younger brother, which granted opportunity and new experience for the pair. Eventually the two began traveling the world and found success as freelancers, working labor, hunting, bodyguarding and courier jobs. Yet Gimrok discovered his own talent and interest for domination in an erotic context, and managing important factors such as comfort, safety, and trust among strangers who had an interest in his services. Continuing his trade, Gimrok is satisfied with his hobbies and employment as his adventure and growth continues. A biographical character sheet for Hrokr, a Human Ranger. He/Him, Demisexual-Ace, 33 years old, 6 foot 2 inches, 198 pounds. A highlander born outside the Kingdoms, his blacksmith father raised him alone as his mother was Amazonian and sworn to serve in other lands. Hrokr had a typical upbringing, but was eventually accepted into the Ranger’s Guild where he remained steadfast in the face of rigorous training and establishing friendships and rivalry with another ranger, Kàrr. On a quest he met Brokul, saving the Orc’s life. Hrokr reluctantly accepted Brokul swearing a debt of repayment to him, but the two grew to appreciate one another until the Orc’s seeming death. Hrokr mourned for a year until Brokul suddenly returned a year later, unharmed. Taking advantage of their new time together, Hrokr has learned more about himself and his desires, but also begins to see Brokul’s own desires to enjoy other adventures and other partners. A biographical character sheet for King Kuubah, a Yeti. He/Him/They/Them, Two-Spirit Androsexual, 131 years old, 9 foot 10 inches, 1197 pounds. For two hundred years Yetis were considered extinct, no one knowing the process by which they or their lowland cousins produce offspring. King Kuubah emerged when encountering Hrokr and Brokul encroaching upon his territory during one of their travels, but was defeated by the pair twice. Brokul the Orc, fascinated by the beast king, returned alone to make amends, and wrestled with Kuubah who won the encounter, mortally he thought. Brokul’s recovery made King Kuubah happy however, and they started a new relationship, Kuubah learning that not all wanderers and travelers are a threat. Fulfilling his role as Parriarch to his clan, he has opened his domain to all who are brave and strong enough to endure the mountain’s trials, and perhaps even his own.

Born into a small tribe, Brokul was adventurous and athletic even in his youth, but was left sole survivor when his tribe was slain by bandits. Wandering for years, Brokul found brotherhood amongst a community of Monks, but his compulsive attitude led to his expulsion. Not without being given advice, Brokul pursued a hedonistic life of travel, mercenary work, and risk-taking before meeting a Ranger named Hrokr, who offered friendship. Years later, Brokul has found his stride, his Monk training tempering his passion, while using his martial arts for sport and pleasure, learning about others through wrestling and enjoying an erotic thrill from grappling. He is drawn to masculine, musclebound opponents, occasionally finding himself in trouble yet always emerging seemingly unharmed. A biographical character sheet for Master Sergeant Xauna, a Human Battlemaster Initiate. He/Him/She/Her/They/Them, Intersex Genderfluid Pansexual, 39 years old, 6 foot 6 inches, 213 pounds. Born in the Fifth Kingdom, Xauna was raised by a nomadic clan with Amazonian traditions, and despite their being considered male at birth, Xauna learned more about their nature with time and was permitted to join the clan’s ranks of female warriors. Throughout time, Dragons strive find balance between primal force and regal authority, but most agree respect to their supercilious nature be mandatory. Bruk disagrees however, taking pleasure in causing chaos within the hierarchy. Shattering their patriarchal and matriarchal divisions with notions of being gender-adverse, Bruk has seriously considered the significance or relevance of gender within both the Dragon and land-dwelling races. Distaining ancient traditions and focusing on living life to the fullest, freely choosing who to associate with, Bruk often interacts with mortals, serving as a very unique representative of his kind. A mythology surrounding the origins of the races of The World suggests a single point of origin, that there were a few Primal races which grew into the ranging diversity within The World today. Daru is perhaps proof this is true. A devotee of the Aspect of Power and Strength, his pursuit of physical perfection has given him a herculean body, and loyalty to Wur has granted him otherworldly arcane powers. He is a mentor, seeking to share Wur’s wisdom with those who have yet to meet their full potential, challenging them to challenge themselves. Through devotion he ignores lustful callings, yet remains comfortably in touch with his sexual and romantic interests, limited though they are.

A biographical character sheet for Master Wizard Brandur, a Human Sorcerer. He/Him, Demisexual Gray-Asexual, 36 years old, 6 foot 3 inches, 198 pounds. Brandur was trained as a metal worker within his Nordic clan, his latent magical abilities setting him up as potentially becoming an arcane blacksmith. Yet his thirst for knowledge drove him to accept an invitation to the Arcane Seminary, and into the world of magical academia. Overconfidence led him to summoning a Demon who manipulated and toyed with him in an attempt at absorbing his soul, but Brandur survived and learned much from the experience, including his own interests. A later quest led to a cursed castle, where an enchanted beastman managed to convey his humanity, leading to Brandur attempting to break the curse. Only partially successful, Bartholomaus was now at least capable of speech, and soon became a partner to Brandur, finding pleasure in their platonic companionship. A biographical character sheet for Gimor, a Dwarf Freelance Archaeologist and Physical Trainer. He/Him, Gay, 79 years old (not quite middle-aged for a dwarf), 4 foot 6 inches, 282 pounds. Gimor’s family traveled from the 7th Kingdom to the deserts of the 5th Kingdom, where his hate of excessive heat motivated him to have a body worth showing. He trained hard, becoming an adonis even in his youth, and began learning a variety of trades alongside his older brother. Far less focused, Gimor learned some skills, but found he was more accepted in social circles by his physique and demeanor. Upon returning to his homeland, Forge served in the Ogre Military and rose to the rank of General after demonstrating new ways of preparing the Kingdom’s forces for expeditionary engagements. He specializes in strategic planning and organizational readiness, while his worldly experience as a Battlemaster opened his mind to new ideas and further learning about his own identity and interests. Forge prefers masculine individuals, challenging them to meet his level of strength, will and intelligence, using flirtation, intimidation and observation to cajole others into playing his game. He joined the Ranger’s Guild and honed his abilities through years of training, before satisfying his wanderlust and traveling The World. He found an interest in other men who showed similar passions, and formed alliances between remote tribes to powerful nations during his many journeys, before joining Burgruk’s Warband. Exceedingly self-secure, Azzan isn’t always open about his deeper affections, and is sometimes seen as dispassionate or detached. Yet to those who know him, Azzan is caring and exceptionally loyal. He began physical training daily, yet despite an adonis-like physique even at a young age, his lack of social experience left him unfulfilled and lonely. A chance encounter with Brokul the Orc broke him free of worldly abstinence, and he realized without seizing the day, life might slip by. He now seeks to embrace life, beginning a journey that has taken him in strange directions, yet all paths lead to him better understanding himself, and that uncertainty is the hallmark of adventure… A biographical character sheet for Gorge, an Ogre Rogue. He/Him, 47 years old, 7 foot 11 inches, 810 pounds. A true Ogre of the Third Kingdom, Gorge was accepted into the Intelligence Academy at an early age, quickly rising to the rank of Commander through his natural talents and learned skills, and becoming a specialist granted the title of Ambassador to take on more unique assignments in the other Kingdoms. Encountering many others in his journey, Gorge is interested in those who demonstrate intrepitude, skill and resiliency, while his Sadist paraphilia leaves him interested in dominating and showing his strength to others who dare to flirt or test his patience.
