Big fan of using playful, sweet imagery to ask bigger questions. Or just appealing to that softer side in general to soften the blow.
It always gets existential, which can be scary, but at least I know I'm not the only one asking.

Bertens is like a friend.
Eagleton is like a rambling, irate grandfather whom I can only understand a good 40% of the time, though everything he says shares a large amount of insight.
To be fair, that's my issue, not his. It is funny, though.

So apparently sending secret and silent codes is largely unhelpful when you fail to tell people how to interpret secret and silent codes. Who knew?

Living with computer science majors/engineers as an English major is like living with a bunch of wizards as a small kobold who eats mulch.
But I'm, like, really proficient at identifying mulch. Nom.
