Ya, make him 40 if you feel like it. I never liked this idea of Tseng being 15 ears old in the Aerith flashback.
Like, the 15-year-old Tseng design was super cute and all, but they actively decided against using it, directly contradicting the canon age. MAKE HIM OLD!

The only reasonable response to that is aging up Tseng by 5. Yeah, I did that in my fic lol.

I don't think they will. I don't think they even look at what people post online. I think they will just never really add much of a backstory for these characters.

I think they are sweating with anxiety over the idea of actually having to come up with a good backstory for Reno, Rude and Tseng. Elena kinda has a backstory. Not super deep, but enough to work with and expand if necessary, but the others? I get the feeling we'll never see a canon for them.
