New research led by Dr Donald Lyall finds that APOE e4 genotype is an important predictor of developing Alzheimer’s disease, and it weakens the protective benefits of better earlier cognitive health.

Bowel screening uptake boosted with simple change to invitation letter.

Adding a 2 week deadline could increase test returns by 2% - meaning an extra 39,000 people participating per screening round, and 23 #ColorectalCancer deaths avoided.
