Some of them imagine a better version of those characters and treat them differently than the source material.

Thanks for the reply. Despite your thread being deleted, I still appreciate and enjoy your perspective of that movie. Not only that, but those current animated movies are structured and handled the same way it makes me feel insane when someone calls it's peak.

If you ever get a commission from someone to draw any of the characters from that movie, would you reject it or give them the most painful torture? (I didn't like the first one BTW)
