Welcome to the winter semester! Swipe for tips on how to bounce back after the break! Reflect on last semester. Examples: Which lecture note-taking methods worked best for you? Examples: Creating a reading schedule to complete assigned readings on time, Attending office hours at least once for all courses, Exploring one new UTM resource like the Experiential Education Unit, Creating more detailed step-by-step plans for large assignments, Participate in each class meeting by asking or answering questions, or by volunteering to lead group activities. Explore opportunities. Examples: Research Opportunity Program applications for summer and fall-winter will open in mid-February, Work-Study applications for summer will open around April, Explore Summer jobs, volunteering, or internships, Find opportunities and communities to practise your hobbies and interests like students clubs.
