we already have spanish/mandarin in tagalog, so french rules aren't as far away from ours as it feels

I think going to the First was a -major- mistake regarding worldbuilding.

Now instead of exploring Corvos, we have Other Reflections. Instead of Meracydia/old Allag/Dravania for dragon lore, we're going to Space.

Instead of Tural & all the beautiful landscapes there, we're in Night fucking City.

Stormblood didn't have the hype moments that ShB/EW did, but it's the expansion I keep returning to. It brought the conflict to a global scale for the first time, revisited Ala Mhigo, and really flexed how -big- the world is.

ShB was laser-focused, but left a messy trail in its wake. EW was worse.
