"They don't have cowgirls there, did you know?" is both one of the most-amusing and also saddest lines to me. I'm really proud of it; I think Naomi's view of the world is very endearing, and much of it is captured in those handful of words

I think that today's chapter has one of my favourite passages; as someone who has always considered the inevitability of death to be a welcome end, it was gratifying to imagine that finality as a moment possessed of its own mournful joy.
