I'm not a huge fan of 'Normal People', but after reading this, I ordered a copy of 'Intermezzo'', one of Sally Rooney's other books. I'm defiitely not a fan of the attacks on the author by the vile, authoritarian, genocide-supporting UK Government. A bit of solidarity is in order.
