Also, the way everyone always refers to Bert the cop as "Bert the cop," I think Bedford Falls must be full of people named "Bert" who we never meet.

I'm not defending her—again, I'm not a fan, read nothing by her. I'm just looking at/for the evidence. It doesn't surprise me that a straight woman in her 80s wouldn't like the singular "they," and it doesn't make her a transphobe. And her busting on JKR for _her_ transphobia is a counter-argument.
