For her to completely change her mind once she heard Woody had a little sister, felt conflicting to the entire traumatic situation she already just sang about, but they had to continue Woody's story. Even as a 7 year old I was surprised by the sudden change lol.

I agree ofc it is one of THE best moments of the film. That's why it's a bummer that she was only a blip of a movie trying to fit in the moments of like 10 characters and blockbuster action, and then even more focus on Woody. Jessie's fears and aftermath deserved more time.

Ofc it had itd moments, but it felt so rushed. Honestly Woody could have had way less focus on his story to give more time to others like Jessie. It just feels like there was never enough time to marinate on the intimate scene before another joke filled action sequence interrupted the moment.

I had a toy story 2-themed birthday when I turned 7 because the movie just came out and I was obsessed with TS already. But even back then I felt like something was lacking.

Too many characters, actions and jokes, not enough time for quiet, introspective moments. Idk why I wanted that as a kid lol
