This weekend I was in Bristol for the 33rd Annual General Meeting and Conference of the Myotonic Dystrophy Support Group.

It’s been a year since I started working with them and it is an absolute honor for me having been elected as a *Trustee* of the charity on Friday night! 💚✨

Today I attended with some of my colleagues from the @mitonewcastle.bsky.social in @newcastleuni.bsky.social the Mitochondrial Patient Information Day. It was lovely to chat to so many patients and talk about some of the amazing research we are doing 💪🏻💚
