Ed, the third jackal from The Lion King movie, has misaligned eyes, a lolling tongue, and a vacant look. Ed appears to be into whatever is happening, but is definitely not following along with what the plan is.

My family likes to do taste tests together. We do apples every year. This summer we tried The Great Cheap Cheese Pizza Showdown: all the <$4 cheese pizzas at grocery (except Party Pizza they have no competition). The result? They all are awful. RIP Roma, Jacks, Tombstone, and Red Baron.
Four packages of cheap frozen thin crust cheese pizza are on top of a white stove. Imagine cardboard, tomato paste, and yeast -flavored rubber band strips and you're close.

Went to a #CloudCult concert this weekend. Just discovered them last week and was shocked to learn a Midwest group that could easily be one of my favorite bands has been going for 25yrs. Loves every second of it. At each concert an artist finishes a painting during the set. @cloudcult.bsky.social

The wider view (yes, of a public toilet, I'm impressed by the poor planning and want to share). There is nowhere to stand while the door is opening and closing unless you can acrobatically straddle the full toilet itself. And screw anyone with a mobility aid or a small child, no "accessible" stall.

I'm usually a fan of heavy real-doors on public bathrooms. But this one ... Do you have good enough mental geometry to see why this one is problematic?
A public toilet seat (clean) is shown, with the door of the stall also shown. The door of the stall swings inward toward the seat and is actually 1/2" higher than the seat. This is a good thing because the stall isn't deep enough for the door: the door swings OVER the toilet seat.

My stepmom was the big sister I didn't have, married my dad when I was in my 20s. Had a great gravely voice, did some quiet bluegrass singing at home. She died almost 15 yrs ago of pancreatic cancer. This is her guitar. Working on learning with it, now, to keep my mind right in this rough world.

So is this like that fabled exam where the first direction is to read the whole page before starting and the last question says write your name on the paper and turn it in blank? Did they not expect anyone to bother to read past the headline? Or are they just this bad at things?
