Basically, the just is, why should I lock in n treat him exclusively n give him relationship treatment if he wont do the same until our actual date.

I should meet him with the same respect until then/until that happens, as its not fair to me otherwise

If u asl n communicate that u want that. But if hes choosing not to lock in until our eventual date. Is entertaining, seeing, chatting to other people, still weighing his options n stuff, that is considered "casual" to me, n if hes going to that n expect me to commit to him n treat him exclusively
