Look, I've got depression, anxiety, and I often struggle just to put myself out there. Every. Single. Comment. I have ever received has made me smile, many have made my day, and at least a few have literally made me cry happy tears. Appreciating artists gives us life.
I’ve sometimes fallen into the trap of thinking that complementing a creative person for their work is less sophisticated or desired than discussion or debate about it but very often the best thing you can say to them is hell yeah and that doesn’t make you dumb it just makes you nice

Please understand that all your favorite million-dollar IPs were created by artists that get nothing more than a typical company paycheck. They don’t get royalties on the sales and oft aren’t even rewarded with bonuses or anything for creating such a valuable brand.
