Today is World Homelessness Day - fantastic to see Lewisham getting £515K from the Government’s £84m uplift to homelessness & rough-sleeping funding.

It’ll strengthen services for families living in temp housing & expand treatment/recovery support for people sleeping rough/at risk of homelessness.

I was delighted to visit Grinling Gibbons Primary recently.

Huge congratulations to the school for receiving the Gold RACE Charter Mark for the second time & for being the first primary to be awarded the Beacon of Excellence Race Charter for Race & Conscious Equality.

Honoured to meet the Palestinian Ambassador to the UK Husam Zomlot in the run up to the Gov officially recognising the state of Palestine.
