Some Senators seem unfazed by Trump and Musk's actions because these won't impact their own or their children's lives. They will continue their roles as Senators and often view us as nuisances rather than individuals.
I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.

Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.

Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.

We are experiencing a betrayal. Everyone seems to fear Trump!
If there were a time for Kamala to speak up and explain how Schumer’s move undercuts litigation now would be it. And @aoc.bsky.social now is your moment to rally New York voters

I find it hard to believe that most Americans fully understand tariffs, especially given that they elected someone with such a distinctive personality to the White House.

A standout track from Lady Gaga's latest album.
It’s Weenie Wednesday! 🌭
Happy hump-day to you and yours.
What song is stuck in your head right now?

Everything they do is based on falsehoods, and they believe they're very clever for it.
The House just voted that “each day for the remainder of the 119th Congress shall not constitute a calendar day for purposes of section 202 of the National Emergencies Act.” A day is not a day. Lewis Carroll, George Orwell, and Franz Kafka must all be chuckling — or weeping.
