Usually if the vowel is either an -e or an -u next to the ru, then it's a -ru verb
Otherwise, it's an -u verb. There are a few exceptions to this rule, though.

Unfortunately, we're getting to the point where it's hard to differentiate whether it's AI generated or not. Knowing you, it's nuts that someone would flat out accuse you of generating art.
