Went to see a screening of Pillion today - Such a wonderful film, and very wild ride full of joy and heartache.

And there was a Q&A with the director Harry Lighton, Alexander Skarsgard and Harry Melling. One of the puppies featured in the movie joined in too. More videos below!

Trying out this new brush - it’s got indents for your finger posture which is cool for beginners like me. Also this sick inkstone @averyl.bsky.social got me!

I haven’t quite gotten the hang of writing with this yet, it’s so much bigger than my old brushes! But it is nice and smooth.

I loved Frankenstein so much I went to see it in IMAX and managed to snag this A2 poster! I had to run up four flights of stairs to another exit to get this. Totally worth the stitch after 😆 Managed to find a suitable frame for a decent price!!

Revamped this IKEA frame I had in my house for AGES. I painted the back board black, and did lettering on the glass with silver paint pen, with my favourite quote from my new favourite movie.

Look at this mirror I fixed up. I found it in someone’s trash! It was grey chalk paint, distressed shabby chic before (wish I’d gotten a photo).The backing board was mouldy too. I got a new one, sanded it down and spray painted it matte black.

Update on Thang! Their stitches were airbrushed on all wonky, so I cleaned it all off with nail polish remover, repainted the lines with red and black acrylic paint, cleaned off each individual stitch, THEN coloured in each stitch with black permanent marker and silver paint pen.
First coat of red paint for the scars on Thang. Dark red surgical scars on Thang done, without stitches. Mostly completed Thang with silver stitches all done. Mostly completed Thang with silver stitches all done.
