I haven't switched to unity 6 yet but it works for 2020,2021 & 2022.
I believe I just followed the official instructions (unity.com/fr/how-to/de...) after restarting VSCode, autocompletion & language features worked as intended

Using VSCode for all my Unity projects & it works great.
The setup does not work out of the box but as far as I remember it was just an option to tick in the Unity editor to generate the adequate VSCode files.
