Sillage Control, Jumpback complete, group 37 has been dropped near the Gas Giant, at position 331 from reference point. The seventh Calrihan lifebarge really didn't like the jump though, lost a few hull panels. It's probably not gonna last much longer...

You... can.
Granted, it's not as seamless as just CTRL+V into the node editor, but in the image editor there's a paste action that works with the OS clipboard. You can then quickly drag and drop from the image selector icon up top to easily create an image texture node out of it.

Indeed ! Kind of a coincidence if these look so alike, but it is part of it.

That said, I would be more interested in seeing Thargoid stuff. I'm a sucker for organic ships (NMS living ships, Wraiths from SGA, Ghosts from Nexus, etc), and interceptors (Basilisk my beloved) are so incredibly sexy...
