ICYMI: Ken Burns’ “The American Revolution” is fantastic — his best documentary yet. I thought I had had a decent education, but nearly all of the 12 hour movie was eye opening; beautifully realized, and with lessons for today’s war planners.

Vince-if you ever visit Terlingua Cemetery the first thing you’ll notice is how the (primarily) Hispanic culture celebrates death in a festive way. In fact, Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is still a big festival in Terlingua. Here’s a couple of photos (not mine)from recent festivals. 🙂
