I can't believe how hard it was to finish this. Compositing errors and animation goofs all over the place, I spent weeks trying to fix everything, most shots were re-rendered multiple times and I had to uploaded it about 5 or 6 times before it could be published.

Listening to his pieces rattle in the box, it's weird to think that in an early draft for the 2nd Bionicle film, the Matoran were actually going to be disassembled into parts like this, rather than "just" being put into a mind-erasing and size-reducing coma. I can see why they changed it.

The last time I held an unopened G1 Bionicle box in my hand was over ten years ago, before the massive secondary market price hike made me give up on collecting. Back then, I could still find unused classic sets for close to their original price.

I'm making it now. But it'll take a while.

This was gonna go on YouTube but it kept getting copyright blocked, as YT's detection system thought this is unaltered footage from 1954's Godzilla. Except for the final two seconds. That was the only part YT would have allowed to upload.

It's already a hassle to get to the nearest city that's 13 miles away. I can't fathom traveling nearly 400 times farther to another continent.
