Being told you have to give your email address for a receipt you dont even want, nothing being in the same place twice, roadworks on the way home, discovering when you get home that in your quest to look like a grown up you've inadvertently bought what basically amounts to a school uniform. Hate it.

I loathe shopping.
I hate driving there, parking there, spending ages finding your size, sweating in a tiny changing room with nowhere to sit to take your shoes off, discovering you're two sizes bigger than you thought, finding out it had been mistakenly put on the sale rail and is twice the price.

Today in my daily gratitude video, I said I was grateful to live in the age where we can tap some buttons on a phone and get our food shopping delivered to our houses.

My husband has been getting calls all day from a private number, and when he answers, they're speaking in a language we don't understand. Started at 5am. But he can't block the number because it's private. Very annoying.

Two of my children are nearing the stage of wanting to learn, so i often narrate my driving when they are in the car, so they understand why I'm signalling or taking a particular lane, etc. I'm sure it has improved my driving, it keeps me from slipping into bad habits

She's back at her house after spending today in hospital, but is feeling much better than when she went in (and said the hospital near uni is a lot nicer than the one near us, that we visited for the same issue back in december). Worth the drive to give her a hug because she doesn't often need one!
