I know what he's doing, I don't know why he's doing it. His mind is alien to me. If I wanted people to think I was a cool gamer I'd buy out a studio or make the most kickass gaming system on the planet.

But why? Example, I suck but people complement me on my gaming gear. He could just lean into that. Or start a gaming league, you know, the kind of things he's actually good at.

I was thinking more like "I don't need more pew pew effects or massive cast" But now that you mention it, yeah. This would 100% have to focus on characters. Maybe that is something to consider.
