Ruining capitalism’s day by insisting that people and ecologies matter more than money

When you actively speak non-violence, an oppressive regime or society will put violence *into your mouth* and then punish you harshly for it.

It happens over and over. Because otherwise, what is to object to? And that endangers the continuation of *their* violence

How I Survived My First Day in Prison
Prison is an unpredictable and scary place. I saw a man stabbed and got beat up in a fight. But I also proved I was not to be bullied.

I want to challenge everyone in 2025. Consider only posting news stories about local concerns, international news stories, nature, charities, education, healthcare, travel, safety, and human rights. Stop posting political news grabbing headlines for 30 days. Your entire outlook will change.

This is probably going to be a critical tactic for recognizing and resisting the incoming administration’s attacks on protestors and human rights/Civil Rights leaders:
When you actively speak non-violence, an oppressive regime or society will put violence *into your mouth* and then punish you harshly for it.

It happens over and over. Because otherwise, what is to object to? And that endangers the continuation of *their* violence

It was not lost on me today at the holiday art expo how many people co-opted language like #adoptables and #adopted as kitschy cutesy language for their purchased art pieces.

Can I go ONE PLACE where this shit we live is not thrown in my face like a joke or afterthought? Seriously. 🙄
