Sometimes writing, sometimes other things. They/Them.
I can see why Togashi would disappear for a few months when a new dragon quest would pop up. I'm having that exact same problem with the writing now that EU5 is out and I want to play that more than I want to write lol

Chapter 29: in which the protagonist is undone by the revelation that all that encompasses life is but a mote of dust temporarily suspended in a beam of light above the maw of the abyss.

Honestly the next book I write (which is an inevitability at this point) is going to be so much structurally better than this. Nothing is impossible now.

I am going through the story one chapter at a time and then adding/rewriting until it makes sense to me. I'm also adding a summary at the top so I don't forget what the damn chapter is about.
So far so good! 8 chapters down! Scenes reorganised! Consistently eventually!

One of the things I'm coming to the conclusion of: I cannot write non-linearly. As in I need to write a story from start to finish. I can't work on it non-linearly (creating a scene so the story can work towards it) but need to do things sequentially.
