When I worked at Borders, they tried to get us (the employees) to participate in Elf on the Shelf to (a) team build and (b) so we could talk it up to parents and sell more copies.

It lasted two days before there was a full staff revolt.

I hate it when people turn around in my driveway. Luckily, it has a very steep slope, and, if you’re not ready for it, it catches the bottom of your car. People only turn around in my driveway once.
