I'm writing a superhero comic (The Whelp) but unfortunately its not ready/finished yet so I've got nothing to show for it...

Yeah because what if the story itself is the fun part? If not the gameplay. Telling a story is also a worthwhile goal for a videogame.

I also struggle with The Phantom of the Opera, which, unlike Oz is a story I actually like, since author Gaston Leroux had also written a whole novel about spoooooky "evil" Incas at the very least he didn't call us "whining curs" and actively demanded our genocide in his newspaper column(????????)

My mom also loves the original Oz movie from the 30s, which has led to some...uncomfortable conversations.

I struggle with the Oz franchise a lot and am uncomfortable with Wicked's omnipresence in pop culture right considering the vicious and indefensible things L. Frank Baum said about my ancestors.
