The left has too many prominent people who are unwilling to bend on whichever sole issue they care about. The budget can check 99/100 of the lefts boxes but there will still be figures declaring it’s not good enough because it isn’t perfect.

If the team leaves it wont get another one for a very long time. It will be very sour grapes from a league who admitted the city wasn’t very high on their list of inaugural teams. Gary Bettman, of all people, urged them to more seriously consider Ottawa.
