The NG does work on border "protection" with ICE and CBP. They have been for decades this is known. Illegally occupying land with weapons drawn as a form of intimidation is violence. Like im sorry if these adults felt they couldn't contact a JAG lawyer, but they dont get a pass for being uneducated

In my mind if you're a dev you already have a decent workstation, and just need a company vpn & anti-virus. I do see your point about it being cheaper then like a gaming laptop, i can also see them eventually replacing NUCs but that's like a long term goal.

Like strictly speaking business nobody is throwing out years of SOPs to try out new software/hardware. Not to mention potential security vulnerabilities. I just don't see businesses buying in bulk and moving numbers the way you say. If anything the steam machine is for steam enthusiast.

People in business who need powerful machine, get powerful laptop/desktops not steam machines. Big businesses use MSPs that have contracts with vendors like Dell for discounts. Most MSP won't troubleshoot devices outside the machines they provide.
