OMG Hono.js + @deno.land make the experience almost too easy

One of the most amazing feedback I've seen with my employer, formerly Recollect, was from a blind senior resident who appreciated the recycle day reminders with auto-scheduled phone calls. Neither app notification, email, nor SMS wouldn't work for such people.

It’s been more than three years since I started hosting the book club. The ninth season starts this week with “Good Services: How to design services that work” by Louise Downe.
I am excited to learn about what makes the service helpful through this book!

It made me think a lot. Applications don't last long, but databases do. The applications we need to build might be the ones that are easier to renew.

Started reading “A Civic Technologist’s Practice Guide” by Cyd Harrell. as my first book in 2024. I’ve been interested in Civic Tech, in fact, I got my current position through the community a while back. However, been away from the scene since becoming a parent. I’m thrilled to read this!

子供たちのJet lag がなかなか改善せずに疲弊しながらも #世界一流エンジニアの思考法 読了。感覚的なものを言語化できているのは素晴らしい👏北米で仕事してるので答え合わせみたいな感覚で読みました。日本の仕事の文化に辟易した経験があるのでこの書籍が日本に広まってくれることを期待してます。

カナダへ戻る日が近づいているので気になっていた書籍をまとめて購入。

母国語でこれらのクオリティの書籍が書かれているのは実は幸せなことなんです。
