There needs to be a word for the moment when you realize that you're almost done with the book you're reading that you haven't researched and realize "Hey, there's no way they're going to wrap all this up in what's left. This must be the start of a series...."

They keep proving they are lying with their "come the right way" line.
These were people already approved to be naturalized, yet they were stopped solely because of their countries of origin. MAGA keeps saying, “If they wanted to be in this country, they should have done it the right way.” Well, they did. And the administration still blocked them. Cruelty is the point.

You have to wonder about this. He's disappointed in a bill he voted for passing? And they have "concerns"? What concerns would those be?
WATCH: Speaker Johnson says he’s “deeply disappointed” the senate passed a bill he voted for 🤔

@rokhanna.bsky.social : “Johnson looks frazzled. He’s lost it, attacking a bill the survivors wanted without talking to them… that he voted for. He has lost the confidence of half his caucus.”

If someone knowing their rights makes things "difficult" for you, you really need to think about what you're doing.

As it turns out, #PredatorBadlands is a fun movie. It's not great cinema, but it's a fun action flick which shows some more ties between the Predator and Aliens franchises. IMHO, it's worth seeing in the theater.

Explain to me again how this isn't racism. They show who they are over and over.
Thread.

Fuck the racism and white supremacy of this administration run by draft dodgers and losers.

True heroes lie within this thread.
1/ The US Government has quietly removed a memorial to Black soldiers who died in World War II from the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, South Limburg. The move follows a complaint from the right-wing Heritage Foundation to the American Battle Monuments Commission. ⬇️

Every masked ICE person five years ago screamed themselves raw about how they couldn't breathe in the masks to keep people safe. Masks to harm people, meanwhile, they can breathe through very well. Must be some kind of new invention, a hate fabric.
Literally, every member of ICE looks like they've been banned from at least one bar for being creepy.

Wow. How are they justifying this???
What an absolutely wild interpretation of the establishment clause. I’m trying to imagine how even Alito could pretzel himself into agreeing with this and I absolutely cannot.

If you rely on AI for advice on anything, don't be surprised if it's bad, inappropriate, or foolish.
ChatGPT advised a suicidal young woman on how to take her own life, telling her "If you choose death, I'm with you - till the end, without judging."
I wanted ChatGPT to help me. So why did it advise me how to kill myself?
ChatGPT wrote a woman a suicide note and another AI chatbot role-played sexual acts with children, BBC finds.

As a former law enforcement professional, I will say this is excessive force, not right, and not legal.
Excessive force. PERIOD!

They called them “violent mobs,” but the violence came from the guys with badges and body armor.

Johnson needs to do his job or step down.
1. On September 23, Adelita Grijalva won a special Congressional election in Arizona, collecting 69% of the vote.

43 days later, Speaker Johnson has not sworn her in.

The delay, 8 days longer than the previous record, has prevented Grijalva from forcing a vote to release the Epstein files.

Of course there's no proof. They didn't prove it for 2020 either, because it didn't happen. The Republican party is, at this point, the part of "lie about almost everything, and make false accusations when anything happens we don't like."
Host: Donald Trump right now facing his first big political test of his second term, as it is election day across America. Trump has been airing grievances on several key races. Just moments ago, Karoline Leavitt claimed that fraud was happening in California without actually providing any proof.
