I read with interest that Mongoose's new near future RPG, Pioneer, has no combat system, which I think is a really interesting move. I mean you can probably shoot guns but, like Call of Cthulhu, there's not really any point 😁

I don't really care for the D&D rule system but, beyond that, I rather approve of a 5E version of Traveller. If nothing else, the player characters might feel competent, which would make a refreshing change.

I just discovered STLs of the Crimson Skies planes on Thingiverse and purchased Voidfighter (miniature-agnostic starfighter rules) from Osprey. What could possibly go wrong?

Crimson Skies (the original PC game, not the console sequel abomination) and don't change or update anything. Just make it playable on Windows 11.
