Summary:

Arguably, here would be a good point to stop drinking. Xichen rarely drinks, not because he really can't hold his alcohol but because he doesn't particularly like how he gets when he drinks: Emotional and unreasonable and needy, in a foolishly reckless way. Normally, he avoids any amount of alcohol that would cause him to lose control like that as a precaution, but today, his usual prudence seems to have been overruled by more irrational impulses from the start.
