Just a thought if the Ospreys are going to get shafted by the WRU, rather than merge with them or Cardiff. Why not take a stake in a club in the West of England (Worcester?) not ideal but better than the more local options trapped in the URC. I’m sure they would happily take Deavsy et al

What bothers me is it seems that since their inception the regions never got support from the WRU and everyone seems to agree the pathway is broken. Why not focus on fixing the pathway, support the regions for now and see what happens…. If it doesn’t work one or more will go bust anyway

Matt Sherrat is no doubt a lovely fella, but what has he actually won as a head coach? One decent performance against Ireland, Cardiff melted in the 2nd half of the season. Not saying it’s the only problem but everything in Welsh Rugby is bang average at best…. God help us.
