We haven't had Thanksgiving dinner yet (because the pilot is busy working flying people around) but I broke out the apple-pear ginger pie last night & it's totally breakfast this morning.
Is it pre-leftovers when you snack on it before your Thanksgiving meal? 😂

Yes!! I did such a double take. Bi-black is recessive, so it's very rare. (I grew up around shelties & never saw one until I met Tallie's mom. They're a bit more popular now, but still not many out there.) I thought it must be a tri-color sheltie but nope, bi-black! So cool.

(I would estimate that Tallie is friends with out 70% of the people who live on the blocks around us. If you want to meet your neighbors: get an extremely sociable dog who will walk up to people 😂)

Yes, this is the right answer, time for second breakfast! Tallie is very concerned and wants to know if she should box up some of her breakfast & ferry it over so she won't starve. 😆

I was chatting with the vet tech after suture removal, and she was like "Did Tallie learn anything from the cone escape adventure?" and I was like "nope. she thought it was awesome." 🤦♀️
(moar visits to see the vet techs, who she loves! the bestest. she would totally do it again.)

she got her stitches out today!!!!! but her paw is still kind of raw, thanks to her cone escape Wednesday night, so she has at least a few more days until it fully heals.
But omg, the stitches are out. There is light at the end of the tunnel!!

Anyway, I have no idea what temperature it was cooked at (I was in charge of the sweet potato casserole, which I made in the microwave because 90s), but the plastic bag melted onto the turkey and we had burnt plastic and raw turkey. So we mostly ate sides then ordered Thai. It was fabulous.
