The points of his ears are now very pronounced. Alex utters a brief, "Oh!" Panel 3: Omar stands behind Alex again, gently gripping him by the ears and massaging them. Said ears immediately lengthen and sharpen with a subtle 'throb-throb'. Alex lids his eyes as though he's in the middle of a decadent, divine massage.
