If we just stop doing emulator frontends life would improve for all.

You can defeat the final boss from the minute it is presented. Choosing to do everything else merely reinforces that you want to spend more time in the world and wish to push things off to further that.

Players have been conditioned to believe that there is always a perfect middle ground that can be struck in every tough situation. No!! Make me choose between one broken fucked up person’s pov and another’s!!

You don't have to do an epic gotcha that's wrong. You can just look at an idiom or proverb and say "well that's stupid". It's that easy.

In fact the "blood of the covenant" thing is only attestable to the 1990s, and the authors whom claim it was the original meaning cite no sources. This is the case for most of those "did you know, the WHOLE phrase is the exact opposite meaning?" things. Completely fabricated.

Like I just cannot imagine who these things are for. They're slower than just launching an emulator and your ROM. And for what? Some bullshit "aesthetic" that looks like shit? What a waste of time and my own computer's memory.

Emulator frontends are evil. The only way to use an emulator is its own executable. Anything else is just needless bloat that does nothing. The idea that emulators need anything more than controller settings, resolution settings, a cheat menu, and a "load ROM" button are delusional.

Say it anyway and force everyone back on your point.

Like it's been a while since I left the industry but the mantra was usually 'the player/user is correct about how they feel, but has absolutely no idea what will solve that problem'

Your job was to fix that, not just yea or nay to community feedback.
