The thing about “my octopus teacher” is that at no point does the octopus teach anything.

I saw another dad coming into the NICU and it was his first visit since they brought him back once last night to see their baby.
We were chatting and he said it was his first solo visit and asked me if we also had a baby last night, lol

Day 36 in the NICU. I'm exhausted. That's pretty much it, in just exhausted. Proud of little man, he's growing and getting stronger, but every day is scary and you learn about another bad thing that can happen.

We have been at the hospital for 28 days now. My son decided he did not want to wait until late Sept to be born, so June 28, 14 weeks early, he arrived. Today he is finally 3 pounds, and I cannot explain how happy I am!
