This is absolutely untrue in every regard.

I guarantee I was here before you, so that’s not going to play

And to jerk off to porn bots then claim it was a misclick while “investigating spam likes” (and then banning the person who discovered it while leaving up the porn bot for months)

Taylor’s dad was a multimillionaire finance exec at Merrill lynch and bought a stake in the record company that released her first albums. It’s actually pretty important to be against that if we want any kind of democratized music industry that doesn’t only reward rich white people.

Wow! So special! Dunking on Taylor Swift’s dad is important to the cause you’re uniquely concerned about.

Wow! So special! Defending a billionaire who got a record deal thanks to her multimillionaire finance exec dad! It actually is pretty important to the cause of democratizing the music industry that nepo babies don’t get the only decent deals in the industry

Sounds like her dad should’ve bought a larger stake in the record company then. Because that offer is basically never given to anyone. Record companies are bad. She still got one of the best deals ever. I’m much more concerned about the artists who never see a single royalty from songs they write
whowhatnow56.bsky.social
Definitely enough to stop pretending like she was some taken advantage of struggling artist by the mean old recording industry. She got an incredible deal never given to black artists or other female artists out of nowhere, full writing credits while working with a multiple award winning songwriter
whowhatnow56.bsky.social
Why’d you leave the part out where her father bought a stake in the record company and negotiated the contract? It’s real weird how that part of the story always gets left out in the retelling.
whowhatnow56.bsky.social
Not true. She had a huge meltdown about how people criticized her and wrote a song about making fun of her on Twitter was comparable to gay bashing.

It wasn’t a true bop until the goat cover.

I don’t think you know what progressive means and you’re using it as a catch all term to refer to people you don’t like.
whowhatnow56.bsky.social
You could simply show how foreps were more effective. Like pointing out tangible things they did that opposed trump. Here’s things progressives did: organize against ICE, stopping raids. Winning court cases. Locating ICE hotels and refusing to serve them and national guards. And many more things

This is insanely antisemitic and Islamophobic. My god.

There was a whole movement in Michigan to vote for Trump to make sure Harris lost the state and make the Arab American/Muslim American vote block as powerful and as threatening as the Jewish American vote is. It was about gaining leverage in future elections and now it’s uncertain if we will
whowhatnow56.bsky.social
More people who are registered voters didn’t vote than who voted for Trump. You’re just completely incorrect here.
whowhatnow56.bsky.social
This is just not true. The largest coalition is nonvoters. The Dems have just become terrible at organizing on the ground at a national level. The lose of acorn and other groups like it have done untold damage
whowhatnow56.bsky.social
This isn’t the discussion at all. You’ve completely changed the subject. Why did you do that?
whowhatnow56.bsky.social
Which is what former republicans like Geoff Garrin and the Lincoln project people were telling her to do lol
whowhatnow56.bsky.social
If they were so easily swayed, surely the Dems would be successful at it. Maybe the problem is trying to go after these swing voters instead of energizing the much larger base and nonvoters (like Obama did)
whowhatnow56.bsky.social
No, that was not uncommitted goal. They were not a movement to vote for Trump and now you’re not only lying but you are moving the goalposts yet again.
whowhatnow56.bsky.social
Exit polls showed that Harris lost the white male swing vote who voted Biden in 2020 the most. The kind of voter she tried to get and who she probably never would’ve. The big question is if she could have energized nonvoters like Obama did in 2008. But we’ll never know now
whowhatnow56.bsky.social
You’re moving goalposts again. Harris is not a former Republican to irrelevant to the discussion. The vast majority of progressives, especially organizer and elected voted or supported Harris. This does not prove Liz was more effective.
whowhatnow56.bsky.social
Ok so did pretty much every progressive. The massive majority of whom opposed Trump and his policies while Liz voted the majority of the time with Trump. So, again, this is not proof she is more effective than progressives
