Is Bean a Marten? She looks so similar to my Hilda, who was a Marten, and passed those pretty red eyes down to all of her babies!

I just take those as sincere well wishes, that they're hoping for the best and giving you encouragement in a way they understand (and likely figure most believe the same). I just stress the medical aspect and medical staff as a redirect while I internally acknowledge the person means well

She was a sweet little girl, loved being in my lap and hanging around me. She was also a little feisty, and liked to start play fights with her Auntie Emmie, (who was noticeably larger than Sophie), which sometimes turned into a small can of whoop ass being opened on Sophie by her Auntie Emmie >.<

They were poses I found neat, or animals you don't hear much about (coatmundi, numbats, etc). Some were just because I liked the animal, or it had an uncommon fur pattern. Basically I just filled it because I wanted to, and anyone was welcome in my critter cube to reference them :)
