Our debut album, ‘Puce’, is coming out on the 9th October. It was recorded with the lovely Phil Booth at JT Soar and finished off with our own Nick in a cupboard in his office in Oxford. Robin at Snug Recording Co did a sweet job mastering it.

As one of the first songs we recorded, originally as part of an EP, it set the tone and inspired us to record a full album.

It’s the song that got us playing harder and more deliberately, layering our ideas in a way we hadn’t previously. Instrumentally insistent, it follows the Wiiince formula of trying to fit too many syllables into each line. We’re only allowed to construct songs from one chorus and an outro.

Had a really good idea for a band photo shoot. Not gonna get round to it for a bit but I’ve written it down, popped it in an envelope and posted it to myself. If I see any jokers trying the same setup we’re taking legal action

We recorded a christmas song a couple of years ago but didn’t feel comfortable promoting it at the time as it mentions rail replacement coaches and then the train strikes happened.
