Musically it's an indie folky piece in the key of Eb mainly but a slightly unusual chord sequence. The electric lead in the chorus is improvised (cont)

When I was writing it I was thinking of teenage fanclub - but it stayed a lot more folky and gentle in the recording. I love the glockenspiel at the end!

I like the structure of this song. Firstly, it builds ever so gently but never gets very big. Secondly, it's got a pre-chorus and middle eight that help increase variety in the song. (Cont)

During the summer I found myself home alone for 3 days.

So I set up a recording studio in our snug room and recorded a 9 track album.
