Thirsty Thursday. Water is life! At our Wild Horse Canyon Sanctuary we have 13 different wells serving our 1300 acres of sanctuary parcels. They require a lot of maintenance. This is Bonnie and Clyde. These mules were abandoned by pot "farmers" when they got raided DEA. The white scars are where harness straps would have been on Clyde's neck and head. Too tight and for too long - they rubbed into his hide. They are safe and happy now at Wild Horse Canyon.

Friday Funday. This is Saoirse playing in the water on a warm day. Look at the mess she made! Fun Fact: Horses splash water as a fun way to cool off. And a good roll in the mud is another way to keep cool even as the mud dries it can protect the horse's coat from sun and insects.
