Lovely evening for some #FieldRecording Not quite as frozen conditions as I was hoping for but beautiful scene and good listening.

Made it out for an hour before it started raining. Think I've encountered #ZoomF6 bugs and glitches in the last few days, one black screen requiring battery removal to escape🤔

Was planning #FieldRecording a small wooden bridge that serves as vehicle access to a few houses today. The timber sleepers sit on two huge RSJ beams that I think don't have a proper foundation, the surface is topped with planks and chequer plate, I think there will be lots of movement.

I've been out recording ferries at Oban Pier this week. A #ZoomF3 scouting trip for a multi channel #ZoomF6 follow up. More study sessions needed before committing. Really nice to have the fog slightly dampen the acoustic. It's been freezing for a few days the air is dry and the sound is bright 🔆

Better day today, had some fun in the winter sun and there was a good stiff breeze creating some audio drama in the trees.

Morning anyone who might see this. I'm fairly excited to be planning a #StormDarragh sound adventure later today. Here in the West of Scotland we're not catching the worst of it, but it's a decent wind forecast and to be dry later. Perfect for some #FieldRecording in the forest. I'll update🧵later 💨

Well that's my new #ZoomF6 arrived, a tidy bit of kit. Really looking forward to putting it to use. Waiting for my #JrF Ecutic to arrive and a long wished for Audio Technica BP4025 is on route too, but I'll have to wait until Christmas to get my hands on that beauty #FieldRecording
