Cool. We usually see blue-green eggs on H. Symbiolongicarpus in the field. I found some hot pink ones in northern Massachusetts last week and wasn't sure if it was an indicator that I'd stumbled into one of the other Gulf of Maine species, or if it was normal variation.

Which species is this? We've been trying to figure out if the egg color variation we've been seeing in the field is meaningful or not...
