I also like lots of sports and get annoyed by politicians...
If someone tells you it's raining and another tells you it's dry, it's not your job to quote them both. It's your job to log on to the Internet and report if the president is posting memes of himself shitting on the people he was elected to serve.

If you're after a handful of early britpop indie hits to bolster it, the (I think) 10 Shine compilation albums are not a bad set.

There's a load of the obvious stuff, at least one of Blur, Pulp and Oasis on every album, but there's also a lot of decent but less famous stuff from that era.

Here was me and some colleagues at a UCU strike a few years ago in the UK. Hope you have a great day!

Not the greatest hits album with "Protege-moi" on it, then?

I did too! It was a bit creaky in places, but I think it got a worse rap than it deserved.

Series like Rebels and the Tales anthologies might entertain you, and they introduce a lot of characters that are now beginning to appear in the live actions Disney are rolling out.

I think A&R1 are very different to the main films; R1 is closer to classic war films like Guns of Navarone or Heroes of Telemark than to eps 1-9.

That's not to say you shouldn't rewatch! But there's definitely a tonal difference.

Some of the other series might suit you, if you're OK with cartoons.

I always enjoy reading the pieces; the exoticism of those I don't know, the wild but informative tangents, even playing "how quickly can I work out if Talia or David wrote it", but it's a nice blog I follow.

This one, though, oof - this is phenomenal writing.

Massive congratulations on the book!

"Do you want Microsoft Copilot to try to help you with that?

It won't, but do you want it to try, taking longer than the original task would have if you'd just done it on your own?"

16 down in the Everyman crossword (which is just within my abilities) was a bit of exactly what you've raised, both quite literally and figuratively somewhere between the two (and, to my limited understanding, a bit on the ropey side as clues go)
