Depending on the weather and how much time you have, I like to take the train across the Firth to Kinghorn, and hike the coastal path to the remains of the 15th century Seafield Tower, or in the other direction to the Alexander III monument, built at the spot where he met his end.

Returning from an all-night toga party, he was reminded that he had a session with the sculptor that morning. He tried to reschedule to give him time to change, but the Lord High Scheduling Guy said, "Fine, I think we have an old statue of Oliver Cromwell lying around that we can use instead."
