It’s in White Dwarf 510; already out for subscribers. Some articles seem to be split over two months now.

Not the best photography, but Warhammer World had the cars in the Exhibition in Feb. Might still be there.

Great time yesterday at Warhammer World’s Age of Sigmar Spearhead Quest Night. Came away with two losses for the Sons of Behemat, but had lots of fun; thanks to two opponents who couldn’t have been more patient with a first timer.

Excellent #bookpost today as the first of Black Library’s two Dark Coil omnibuses has arrived. Hard to boil down a summary of one of the stories let alone do justice to the omnibus, suffice to say that Peter Fehervari’s take on 40K is exceptional and unique.

And an OldHammer stand in for Warhammer Underworld’s Zarbag’s Gitz on a flock shedding polystyrene hill.

It’s a bloody cold morning to be on the farm, and the Midlands haven’t had it as bad as some. The picture doesn’t really do the enclosing fog justice.

#wip Contrast has taken surprisingly well to an old Catachan painted in tribute to Adair of @writervh.bsky.social’s Deathworlder and Igor Kieryluk’s cover art.

Also on display at Warhammer World the fantastic Catachan vs Drukhari studio diorama that always surprises me with new details. Recently moved around in the exhibition there’s chance to get a look right into the heart of the action.

It still holds up, my terrible photography not withstanding. On display at Warhammer World in Jan 2023

A fruitful dig through the shelves and boxes, has unearthed a few finds.

Sadly my set of the Konrad trilogy isn’t of quite the same vintage but I remember enjoying them all on release during the Black Library reissue.
The obviously missing First and Only is tucked away at the start of the Dan Abnett shelves.
Think that or Drachenfels is where I got started.

The Wallsmasher Stomp watches on from greenstuff curing jail, so I don’t try dealing with them before it’s set.

Building Space Marines and watching the interview with @writervh.bsky.social on Warhammer TV’s Scribes & Scriveners.
Can highly recommend giving Deathworlder a read.
Tempted to dig out my squad of 2nd Edition lead Catachans although they need a trip into the digestion pools/paint stripper.

Currently reading: About 2/3rds of the way through Asako Yuzui’s Butter. Genuinely not sure how things are going to play out.
